Perusahaan Listrik Negara or
known as PLN, is a state-owned company that deals with all aspects of
electricity in Indonesia. The head office is located at trunojoyo street Blok M
, no 135, Kebayoran baru, south jakarta. The President Director is Mr. Sofyan
Basir. PLN was established on 1st January 1965. PLN has an electric motto for a
better life. electricity network in indonesia grows to remote area. The recent
news is PLN plans 35,000 mega watts for Indonesia. In addition, PLN cares about
surrounding environment. PLN has Corporate Social Responsibility program, such
as energy self-sufficient villages, is the development of micro hydro power
plants, that built in remote areas, education and counseling , as well as
natural conservation including reforestation.
The reason I want to work in
PLN because of my dream job, and this company has a career of success and
promises in the future. I can get a good salary, on the other hand this company
takes part in helping people in remote areas that have no electricity.
